Standard equipment includes fully ducted air
conditioning with individual eyeball outlets at each seat, incorporating
reading lights, power steering, disc brakes on the front, cloth trimmed
seating,
a tachograph, 6-cylinder VM turbocharged
Deisel engine, with a 5-speed overdrive manual transmission.
The steering wheel is fully adjustable for driver comfort, and the audio system is AM/FM and tape player, with a microphone and public address system. Driver information includes a comprehensive warning light and buzzer system. A driver's heater and windscreen de-mister is standard, and a driver operated rear window washer/wiper. The saloon area is heated with two powerful floor units.
The COMBI body has a slam door on each side at the front, and a
fully automatic saloon plug door with a light-beam safety device, and a rear
storage compartment. There is a parcel rack provided for small hand luggage.
All wheels are fitted with hubcaps.
