Citroen's new flagship Xantia model, the Activa, is powered by a new 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine which has been developed to produce refined and flexible performance right across the rev range

Mated to a low-pressure turbocharger, this 108kW engine enjoys massive torque characteristics helping to make Xantia Activa a relaxed and easy car to drive, with the added benefit of rapid mid-range acceleration, ideal for overtaking.

Maximum torque of 235 Nm is developed at just 2,500 rpm, and is available constantly to 3,500 rpm. More than 200 Nm of torque is available all the way frm 2,000 to 5,000 rpm.
